Each year The Whale hosts several community fundraising events. Together The Whale players, coaches, office staff and event guests have raised money, spirits, and hope for countless individuals across our state.

This event benefits Gaylord Hospital whose mission is to preserve and enhance a person's health and function.

CT Whale Tip-a-Player Dinner & Sports Carnival

Have a Whale of a Good Time! On Sunday, January 22nd the CT Whale hockey team will host the 9th annual Tip-a-Player Dinner & Sports Carnival on the floor of the XL Center in Hartford.

This Family-friendly event includes a mini "Taste of Hartford" featuring food from area restaurants; hockey players waiting on tables; autographs; silent auction; tours of the locker room; and sports carnival with inflatables, games, and face painting. The currency of the night will be "Puck Bucks" and players will be competing against each other to see who can secure the most Puck Bucks for tips.

Fun for the whole family!
